Who you are agreeing with

Your account

One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under it, so use a password you do not use elsewhere. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it. You must be old enough to agree to terms where you live.

Do not share an account, sell one, or create additional accounts to get around a limit or a suspension.

Running code

The judge compiles and runs whatever you send it, inside a sandbox with no network access and hard limits on time, memory and processes. Do not use it to try to break out of that sandbox, reach other people's submissions, mine cryptocurrency, or send traffic anywhere.

Runs and submissions are rate limited per account and per address. Working around those limits, or scripting the judge as general compute, is a reason to lose the account.

Automated scraping of problems, statements or test data is not allowed. Neither is anything unlawful, or content that harasses or targets another person — including in a display name.

The problems

Problem statements, test cases and design briefs on this site are original writing — not copied from another judge or platform — and belong to the codeblocks.studio project, which is distinct from whoever operates this instance (see Who you are agreeing with, above). The underlying ideas are standard computer-science topics that belong to no one; what is original here is the specific wording.

Company tags are community-reported and are not claims that any company endorses this site or asks these questions today.

Your work

Code, diagrams and notes you write remain yours. You grant only what is needed to run and store them so the site works: executing your code to produce a verdict, keeping your submissions so you can see your own history, and sending a design answer to a model provider if you ask for a review.

Your display name, solved counts and rank appear on the public ranking. Your code does not.

No warranty, and limited liability

This is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. There is no uptime guarantee, verdicts may be wrong, limits may change, and data may be lost. Do not treat it as the only copy of anything you care about. It is a practice tool, not a system of record, and it does not promise that solving problems here leads to any outcome in a real interview.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost work, lost opportunity, or any indirect loss arising from using the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

You can stop using it whenever you like and ask for your account to be deleted. Accounts used to abuse the judge or other users may be suspended or removed without notice. If an account goes, its submissions go with it.

Changes

These terms can change. The date above moves when they do, and continuing to use the site after that is how you accept the new version. If a change matters to you, stop and ask for deletion.
